Curvature in object

I don't know how to make this curvature on the object I made it flat but now have no idea.

Can someone help me? Here is the design and pictures of it. I can't add f3d file here.

Hi,

It could be a Hair Clip or a Door Knocker or a Handle off a Draw. Not sure what it is.

To make an .fd3 file you have to Export it from Fusion. To do this

Fusion Export.jpg

Save it as a Local File somewhere then use the attachments below to upload it to the Gurus.

Hope this helps.

I did that but when I upload it in form it didn't show up.

But now it worked.

It is a clip for the aquarium which I can not get it anywhere to buy.

This is just bent, I need to bend it like an S shape, like it is in the attached picture, with one almost sharp edge.

how to do that?

@damjanRBUXA

I would model it in finished form.

Is your sketch fully defined?

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-design-validate/making-the-same-shape-on-two-sides/m-p/107...

Are all arcs Tangent?

Are there unnecessary repeated dimensions?

Are there blue lines and white dots?

Have you made use of obvious symmetry about the Origin?

Ready to start over and do it right?

Did you intend for this arc err, spline to be Tangent t the 8mm circle?  Why did you use a spline rather than a simple arc?

Did you intend for the spline endpoint (white dot) to be coincident to the circle?

Are all arcs Tangent? Don't know, I didn't use that option

Are there unnecessary repeated dimensions? to get arc where I want

Are there blue lines and white dots? yes

Have you made use of obvious symmetry about the Origin? no

Is your sketch fully defined? no

Did you intend for this arc err, spline to be Tangent t the 8mm circle? No, I was trying to get the shape of the element from picture I was drawing.

Why did you use a spline rather than a simple arc? to get right shape

Did you intend for the spline endpoint (white dot) to be coincident to the circle? no

Ready to start over and do it right? yes

What do you mean with? "I would model it in finished form."

I still didn't make this to work. Also my computer died. Any more advice for this?

@damjanRBUXA

Step 1.

Sketch a Rectangle above the Origin as shown below.

Then add a Midpoint constraint between the bottom horizontal line and the Origin.

TheCADWhisperer_0-1687863316292.png

Crossing window select the 3 upper lines of the rectangle and right click select Construction...

TheCADWhisperer_1-1687863376131.png

Sketch a vertical Centerline.

TheCADWhisperer_2-1687863448300.png

Step 2.

Sketch a horizontal construction line in space inside the rectangle as shown.

TheCADWhisperer_3-1687863567530.png

Select Coincident constraint.

Shift select the midpoint of the horizontal construction line.

Select the vertical centerline...

TheCADWhisperer_4-1687863630161.png

Add the two dimensions to the horizontal construction line as shown below...

TheCADWhisperer_5-1687863724272.png

Sketch a Circle at each end of the horizontal construction line.

Dimension one of the circles as Ø8.

Add an Equal (=) constraint between the two circles...

TheCADWhisperer_6-1687863852806.png

Sketch a circle on the centerline as shown below.

Add a sketch Point at the intersection of the circle and the centerline as shown...

TheCADWhisperer_7-1687864062230.png

Dimension the size and position of the circle as shown below...

TheCADWhisperer_8-1687864177110.png

Q1. What do you note about the color of the geometry as we add dimensions and constraints?

Sketch a rectangle with the first point on the circle as shown...

TheCADWhisperer_9-1687864269584.png

Add a Midpoint constraint between the bottom line of the rectangle and the center of the circle...

TheCADWhisperer_10-1687864325528.png

Add the 13.5 dimension to the rectangle.

Right click and change the bottom line to Construction (Tip: Might be easier to simply select and hit x on the keyboard to toggle to Construction.)

TheCADWhisperer_11-1687864498684.png

Step 3.

Let's put into practice what we have learned so far...

Complete the geometry at bottom as shown below.

Attach the *.f3d file of your progress so far for next set of steps...

Thank you.
I can make all of that but than make a curvature of the whole design in S like shape?

How to do that?

Have you taken a look at the design @laughingcreek had attached?

What do you observe?

thank you.

I will try to do this by myself again.

There's a sketch curve in that file that defines the bent shape of the object.

you can replace that curve with your S-shaped curve. Stuff in the timeline will break.

Roll the timeline back to before the 1st broken item and fix it, then move to the next one.

Do not model with broken (yellow or red) icons in the timeline.
