I would like to know if there is a feature that can do this:
So that i can then extrude the triangles downwards and cut them off at the bottom. Does anyone know of a way to do this, or a better way than this?

I'm trying to cut this mesh according to the triangles in the second picture, but i can't find a function to create a triangle from 3 points.
