Creating Threads on a Cone

Hi!

I'm very new to Fusion360 and just starting to learn how to create 3D Models. I currently am trying to make a soft button release for one of my camera and having a hard time figuring out if it's possible to create threads on a cone that I created. When I created the cone I used the left option to where I created two different sized center diameter circles and then lofted them into a cone. When I try to select the threading option under create it doesn't allow me to choose the cone part for threading, just a sketch that is a complete circle. Is it maybe because I used the loft option for creating the cone? Any help/step-by-step would be greatly appreciated!

Fusion's Create Thread tool will only allow you to make threads on a cylinder, but you can use a Helix as a workaround.

Do you need threads on a cone?  If so:

1. Create  your cone.
2. Create a helix in the surface workspace with a surface sweep.
3. Use split body or split face to create the path on the cone.
4. Use a sweep using the thread profile and the path on the cone.

Hi i did not se the angle setting the first time around, but after trying
