Creating gradual slope on triangle

I'm working on restoring an old foosball table and I'm re-creating the corner pieces on the sides of the goals.  It's a triangle shape that slopes down from .75" to .0125".  I tried to sketch on the side profile and extrude but it ends up going outside of the triangle shape that's needed.  See attached Fusion file for details on what I've attempted so far. Any help would be appreciated.

Unconstrained sketches - never a good sign.

Well, let me take a deeper look....

Hmm, not sure what you are after.

Looked at a few images and didn't see anything that looked similar.

Do you have any pictures of actual feature on real world table?

Here is a photo of the table and the corner pieces. They are made from linoleum and backed with thin plywood. It's an 80s table that a friend gave me. I've rebuilt it with all laser cut pieces. Thanks for your prompt replies.
