Can't seem to find this question as an earlier post, sorry if it's been answered before - then please direct me? 🙂

I would like to create a drawing template, that would use third angle (American) projection, while using ISO page format sizes and metric dimensions. Could someone advise if that's at all possible?

Currently, I have a template for the American setup (third angle projection on US format pages) and one for the European setup (first angle projection on ISO format [A0 to A4] pages).

This third template is a preferred setup, that I - so far - haven't been able to put together: from the normal template user interface, this doesn't appear to be a selectable option?

Thanks!

Hi

Did you ever find a solution for this? I'm am wanting to do the same thing i.e. use A4 sheet and 3rd Angle Projection.

You can select metric measurements e.g millimeters but not metric page format.

Haven't tried it actually but I'm guessing if I selected 8.5" x 11" (215.9mm x 279.4mm) and printed to A4 (210mm x 297mm) the drawing may not scale properly on paper?
