I'd like to create a part that is both additive and subtractive to the assembly to which it is joined. As an example, let's say that I have an assembly with a single, anchored part that is called "baseball field" that is 400 x 400 x 6. Now, I want to join in another part called "dugout" that is both the structure of the dugout (material that gets added into this assembly) and the negative space under the dugout (which, let's say, is 20 x 8 x 3). Thus, in one single step, I'd like to join the dugout and have the dugout structure added to the baseball field AND the negative space under the dugout structure removed from the baseball field. Can this be accomplished in the current scheme where I am joining parts into an assembly? As far as I can see, there is no "Combine" operation in the assembly design view that would allow me to Combine (through a cut) the negative space of the dugout out of the baseball field.
