Create dxf from model

I have seen how to create a dxf from a model but I am trying to create a dxf out of a model with different heights. Due to what I am working on, I can't show the exact part but I have an example of what I am meaning. I would like to create a dxf from a model with varying heights like this.

You can create an offset plane and offset it above the tallest point. Create a sketch on that offset plane and project all the faces to that plane.
