Create complex pattern on curves.

Hi all,

I'm trying to create a saw toothed pattern around a shape.

I'd like to pattern them the whole way around the edge of the shape shown in the attached images.

The straight sections are pretty straight forward, but I'm struggling with  going around the curves.

Any assistance is greatly appreciate!

Pattern on path.  More information is required if that doesn't work.  What does the path look like?

Thanks for coming back to me.

The path is the outline shown in the image 'edge.jpg'.

I think I've worked it out. I need to create a sketch of the 'tooth' for the flat and each radius (both inner and outer) and then extrude them to bodies. That way, when I pattern on the path, the edges of the tooth will match up without gaps or funny geometry.

I think each arc and straight line segment length must be a multiple of the tooth width.  Here's a simplified example:

The end teeth for each segment may need to be different than the middle teeth.
