copy, paste, duplicate Text

I am working on a flat panel and need to add text for laser engraving.  Working in Sketch mode I can add  a text block and set the parameters for the text needed (Arial Rounded MT Bold, Text Height 0.200 inch).  This is a simple process.  The next time I add a text box, all the parameters return to default, I have to set everything again.  In addition, if I use the "rectangular pattern" duplicate command on the text boxes all that duplicates is the box, no text or settings.  Since I am placing the same text multiple times on my panel I would like to use the "rectangular pattern" tool instead of placing new boxes for each and every line of text.

Questions:

1.  How/where do I set the "default" setting for new text boxes?

2. Is there a way to Copy/Paste or duplicate text boxes when working in Sketch?

Thanks,

Copy and Paste work on text in a sketch, it looks like pattern doesn't though as you've found. One thought, can you make your extrude then use pattern from the create menu to copy the 3d feature.

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for posting!

@HughesTooling is correct, copy/paste should work on the text in the sketch.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like there is a place where you can set the default settings for text boxes. Upon investigation, I wasn't able to find a post in the Fusion 360 IdeaStation.

Maybe this would be something you would want to put up there?

Hope this helps!
