Copy/move dialog appears when paste new is used

Hi folks,

my Fusion is currently driving me nuts....

I select a component, pick "copy", right click to thhe root and pick "paste new".

But instead of a duplicate showing up I get a move/copy dialog box where copy is greyed out...

Any ideas?

Cheers

Right.  This is how Paste works in Fusion.  It pastes the new body/component/whatever in place, then immediately invokes Move so you can reposition the copy to another location.  Try dragging on the Move handle and see what happens.

I am getting the same. The answer originally given was wrong. Did you find the solution?

This answer did not understanding the question.

I copy a component from one document and Paste New into a new document. As usual.

For some reason, on this occasion, the Copy/Move dialogue appears with a Combine 1 Error. There is nothing pasted and the only option, in the COPY/MOVE dialog, is to select an existing body/face/etc to move, else Cancel.

I reported a bug like this a good while back, but don't know if it was ever addressed.  some times the act of copy/paste new  will cause an error in one of the features.  the work around for me is to roll the timeline back to just after the creation of the component, do the copy/paste new, and then roll the time line back to the end.  then you can see what feature is in an error state and try to fix it.
