I have created a cylinder model with a extruded area, I want to copy the extrusion into its on body or component since I plan to assemble these together... how would I go about doing this?
Copy extrusion into a component
If I've understood what you want, create another component and activate it then select extrude and make sure Operation is set to New Body.
And you should get a separate body.
