Copy drawing features to a new body ... help!

I've spent a lot of time searching and YouTubing, but have not found a solution to my "copy and paste" problem.  From my digging around, I have learned that C&P isn't the easiest feature to master.

What I would like to do is to transfer the threaded holes on a PCD from one drawing (a cylinder block), and transfer them to a new drawing (one of the cylinder block end covers that uses the same PCD for the 12  stud holes).  See below for a screenshot of the problem.

Any suggestions greatly welcomed!

You cannot copy-&-paste features from one model into another.

Also what you are modeling as the name suggests is a model, not a drawing.

Still learning F360.  AutoCad 16 and MasterCam user, where the copy and pasting features are pretty simple between objects/drawing (or even models).

After some Googling and Youtubing, realized that I could "transfer features" by creating an assembly, and offsetting the cover from the cylinder, and then projecting the threaded holes from the Cylinder Block component to the Cover using the SKETCH/PROJECT INCLUDE command.  Took some time to work out how to get all the holes transferred and then edited to become clearance holes, but it works OK.  A good learning experience.  I'm sure that if I used parametrics in the future, it would be simpler to change the hole size on the cover ...

I'm 5 days into F360 so I'm going thought the "why can't it do ..." phase.  Still think that transfer of a feature from one "model or what ever is the preferred nomenclature" to a new drawing/model/assembly/gadget/thingumabob or whatever you would prefer I call it would be a great feature, but that's probably because I'm used to being able to do so in a previous package ...

In time, I'll learn that vigorous bare back birch twig massages, jumping into an ice pond after a sauna, and learning the inner workings and tricks of F360 are all part of a character building process  😉

Being new to a package means you fumble around a lot, and so, I came across just what I needed by accident ..

I wanted to be able to transfer sketch features from one component to another, and from one end to the other end without "all" cuts.

It looks like the way to do this was smuggled into a recent update ...

Open the Create / Extrude commend, and select the sketch features you want to replicate on a new plane. Then click on the Start - Profile Plane pull down menu to reveal the four choices.  Select  the "From Object" choice, and then maneuver the component to  select the new plane, click on the new plane, and voila, you have now copied/replicated the extruded features on a new surface.

It is explained much more clearly in the YouTube video below (which was created to explain Redefining a Sketch Plane) ... move quickly to the 46 second mark, where the speaker is saying 'this is not currently in Fusion 360" [good news is that it IS now] to learn more about the above process.
