Is it possible to copy paste between sessions of Fusion? Sometimes you want to pluck one part out and use it in another model.

Thanks

Today you can not copy and paste between two seperate designs, but you can save a copy of a component in your data panel and then insert it in a different design by right clicking on the design in the data panel and selecting Insert. Does this help?

Since your idea post we have added distributed design functionality into our model.  You can right click on a component and use "save copy as" to save the component separately into your data panel.  You can then insert that saved component into a new model.  If you change the file from the data panel each model that has the component inserted will update.

I think it's great you are responding to customer feedback and improving
the product. Keep it up!
The copy/paste feature is one I use often in Alias. Between layers, stages
often, and sessions. I like your implementation as the components and
assemblies remain associative. I'm trying to work Inventor into my workflow
for this reason.
I encourage all Fusion developers to spend time with Alias and Inventor,
and maybe you are. They are all part of the same "manufacturing" space. The
help in Alias has become so mature, its amazing. Aim high.
I haven't had much time to devote to Fusion as it wasn't meeting my
immediate needs. However, because of that, I did end up subscribing to PDSU
so I am even more embedded with Autodesk!
So I still have Fusion and will hopefully have opportunity to get back in
there once I get my head back above water soon.
Thank you,
Doug
