Coplainar constraint with new 3D sketching tool

I think I would like to see a coplainar constraint that could be used with the new 3D sketching capabilities. Or is there a better way to ensure that some sketch entities that are at a distance from the original entity would be on the same plane?  If you look at the attached image the Delta Z is 0.344 mm. I would like the line on the left to be on the original sketch plane and the Delta z to 0.000.

Have you got some good reason to be messing with a 3D sketch instead of two 2D sketches?

I have been using 2D sketching for years with some frustration on the
extra steps to link two 2D sketches. I know that creating a plane with 3
points works well, but that is additional steps that can be eliminated
by creating the sketch in one function instead of multiple steps.

Also, this will be a new option merely because of the ease of access to
many Fusion 360 users.

So, why not consider constraints that will apply to these sketches, and
a coplainar constraint is a possible consideration.

Yes, my good reason is merely because the ease of access to this option
exists and I am looking forward to taking advantage of it in my work and
teaching Fusion 360.

Fair enough answer.

So... if the sketch is define on a plane, and as long as you keep the sketch 2D every sketch element is ON that plane... when you make a line "3D" by moving it normal to that sketch plane, WHAT plane do you imagine it might be 'coplanar' to another sketch element on?

Maybe a "Normal" constraint that would force an off-plane element to line up with an on-plane element in the sketch's Z axis? And the ability to dimension angles and distances off the sketch plane? Those sound like good ideas to me.

But, lacking those types of things currently, do you really find it less work to get your 3D sketch right compared to setting up two or more 2D sketches properly? I never have.

more 3D constraint types are definitely in our plans.  You see some new constraints now, more will be added later.  I'm not sure of the complete list, or the order in which they will be implemented.  But, we definitely appreciate the need for these.  However, did not want to hold back some of the new 3D enhancements to wait for those, as the current functionality seems to be a significant improvement over the previous implementation.

The world as we know it has moved on Chris, the Tool is up and running.

I had to bite my tongue - I have seen a 2 profile - 3 Rail Loft from one sketch, work quite fine, the other day.
