Convert tspline to solid model

Hello there

I have modeled half of the main body of a chair with tsplines but they will not convert to a model where I hoped to do the finishing touches. I have tried the convert tool so many times in vain. They only convert to a patch. I need it to be solid to activated the model tools and finish it up there. I attach picture here. Any one?

Never mind! Problem solved! I had to use the convert tool in the tspline environment (I didn't know it was located under the utilities menu) to do the job. I was using convert tool from model and patch environment before.

That's weird, it's a same tool in all these modes. Even should have by default same settings, and lastly it can't convert in to surface in one mode, and in another in to solid.

Please can you tell me which mode convert to solid and which to surface?

In your first post you're saying that you can convert your model only in to surfaces (patches). Only reason for that is that you had open profile in your t-spline.

I was using convert tool from model and patch environment before.", that can't be a solution, because in each of enviroments, Model, Scult and Path, convert tool is the same tool. If you have hole in t-spline body it will always be converted as set of surfaces (pathes), no matter from which environment you get convert tool.
