Convert from TS to Brep failes

When convert this to Brep i failes. The message is: The operation failed  due to a self-intersecting  surface. Try adjusting  the values or changing the input geometry.

When i look at the model in box mode, there are not any intersecting edges. Everything look fine.

Does any one have an idea?

Of course. Have you an idea of what may be wrong?

Hi @Anonymous,

I took a quick look at the model.  I admit that I am confused as well.  The area where the supposed self-intersection occurs is shown in the error:

Usually, I can find these pretty easily by switching to Box display, and often you can see that the control frame looks bad, but in this case I can't see anything obviously wrong:

No overlapping edges, etc.

Even Repair Body doesn't fix it.  I'm going to have to send this one to the TSpline guys to take a look.  Maybe there is an obvious fix, maybe there is a bug.

Hi @Anonymous,

One of our team members showed me how to fix this.  However, I have no idea why this fixes it or what the underlying problem really is.  Still investigating...
