connecting lines and circles in sketch

How do you autoconnect lines and circles in sketch mode? when I connect a line to a circle, I get the X-shaped cross hairs but when I zoom in it still shows that the line is not connected to the circle.

While joining the line you need to constraint like connect through tangent or quadrant using SNAP command or the shortcut using SHIFT+ right click and get the option and select the appropriate selection and connect the lines.

That is most likely just Fusion 360's representation of arcs and circles.  One way to verify the line end point is coincident with the circle is to use the trim command:
