is it possible to turn components back into bodies

Components contain bodies.  What would be the purpose of having the body outside of a component?

In any case, the answer to your question is to simply drag and drop the body onto the top node in the browser. 

p.s. Just because you can, doesn't mean  you should 😀

thanks for replying. sorry not getting back to u but i did get that problem figured out eventually. now ive run across an issue where in one project thee As-Built Joint tool isn't available but its available in all my other projects why would that?

Ahh ok figured that one out to. Turned out the problem was that i had forgotten to turn on the history and i had imported this model
