I had problem joining the frame I generated using mesh then pipe form with a solid. Error message coming up claiming Failed to Boolean bodies together while I made sure both are body type. This time I thrown in an adapter plate in but I think there should be a better way of doing it no?
I got the wire frame by using mesh then select all the edges and FORM - pipe to get the frame. Then to convert the frame back I used boundary fill. After this step, I can not combine it with any other solid. I was hoping to slide the low poly into the frame but they just won't combine after I move them together. I am very new to fusion, can I get some pointers on this issue?
I have included an example design file for you to play with. I wish the wireframe to have a solid base so I can attach it to something. hence I need the half skeleton half solid design(middle one in the image).
Thank you!
