Combine bodies to make ONE component?

I want to copy a shock absorber from one drawing to another.

When I do all the individual bodies seem to multiply and all of this is unnecessary as I am only interested in the shock being SEEN or UNSEEN.

Is it possible to collect all the bodies into a single component, so I can toggle ON/OFF?

Thanx!

For a visibility solution, select the bodies and create a selection set.

When you select the set at the top of the browser, all the set gets highlighted, press V, toggles each time.

Might help...

P..S.  Gooday.

I tried following instructions as best I could--didn't work for what I needed/wanted.

I don't remember how I did this but I created a new component and copied a;l the bodies into it--though there are WAY more bodies. I don't understand that. Anyway, for my purposes, this new component works. I use it instead of the original component.

Thanx
