Color components only to first level components

Working with color components.

I have three components. Each component has a bunch of sub components. Is it possible to have each sub component colored the same way as my top component? So that I end up with only three colors?

@anderskoedj - you cannot do this with Component Color Cycling, which is what we are assuming you are referring to.  However, you can do this manually, by just applying an Appearance to the top-level components (by dragging an appearance to the browser):
