Thanks for reporting this. This is not the intended presentation on the Mac and we will correct. That said, the behavior of the automatic renderings has changed. When the fusion model is saved, the automatic renderings are now intentionally lower resolution. (as you point out, they are thumbnails). This allows them to render very quickly. If you desire higher resolution, simply click the re-render button and choose the desired output resolution. In about two weeks, we'll provide the ability to control the output resolution for automatic renderings per-view.
As I said, these should not be displayed so tiny on the Mac and this is indeed a bug.
