Beginner to Fusion 360 here, I'm currently trying to reproduce a swiss toolkit and most of the tools have these specific curves leading into the tip of the tool.

I've somehow successfully created the cut by lofting on each face, but when I create a circular pattern to make it for all edges, it only makes a quantity of 3, instead of the selected 4. What is my error? Do I have to tiresomely just manually add in the 4th one?

Edit: Attached the F3d file. Prof didn't tell us we can save files locally so I didn't even know f3d files exist. He actually just told us files are only saved through the cloud. That's my bad. The particular body is called "Hexagonal Screw Big".

I am massively sorry for responding incredibly late! Got swamped by other works on other subjects and fell ill as well, so I had no opportunity until today to check this forum :')

I do have lots of pictures (because my professor didn't let me take it home as he uses it himself), most of which I didn't have when I made this post (because I was still stuck on the edges that @laughingcreek helped me make). I attached the pictures which contained the front profile of the tools and the picture of the toolkit as a whole with every tool out.

Thank you for the tips and I would be sure to check them as fast as I can.

As a follow-up message, I have already submitted the (largely flawed) model that moves (close enough) to how it does irl. Here is the f3d file + 2 more pictures of the toolkit.

Thank you for taking the time to walk me through what could be better!

Disclaimer: the f3d file might be somewhat of an eyesore for professionals such as yourselves, so apologies for that.

Your model looks very nice (aesthetically) given the limited instruction that you have had, but we can dramatically improve the technique and quality of the model if you have the time and patience to work through my technique. (It may take some time as I am retired and spend a lot of time on the beach.)

One thing that drives me crazy more than most anything else in the design field is when someone creates something that looks nice, but taking a look under the hood reveals obvious flaws (see SpaceX Starship).

We will fully define each and every sketch.

We will define every sketch with the Origin at a logical location and there will be no blue curves or white dots (this is usually covered in the first 15 minutes of instruction).

Blue curves and white dots should keep you awake at night.

We will dramatically reduce the number of sketches all while reducing complexity.

Our Joints will work.

Check back later.  I am currently editing a video for another beginner.

@eugeneallann_corpuz

Examine the Attached file.

Step forward and backward through the Timeline to examine the sketching/modeling technique.

I did this before I had your comp

leted design and wasn't sure of your Design Intent.

Some changes will be needed - but this example should give you an idea on robust techniques...
