Circular joint

Hi 

 

I am a new to Fusion and trying it out I am from AutoCAD and Inventor,,,, how do I do this joint in Fusion.

a pipe into a cut out in shell trying to model a manhole on a tank.

 

the joint always goes 90deg how do I rotate it?

Do you mean Joint (as in fusion 360 Joint) or do you want to model 2 bodies?Autodesk_Fusion_360__Education_License_.jpg

is it nor possible to rotate, driving me mad why cant I constrain to a plan or centreline/axis

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file of your attempt to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

I would model in Fusion 360 the same way that it is modeled in AutoCAD or Inventor. (Geometry is geometry.)

I redid the part and made a rigid group now it is in place

Rigid Joint the centre points of the 2 sketches.

Set the offset distance in the dialogue box.
