I'm creating something called a "123 Block" that can be proportionally scaled by 1x, 2x, etc. The basic block is 1x2x3 (XxYxZ) units long and has regularly-spaced holes in each of its sides. I use a lot of User Parameters in the single sketch, hole definitions, and rectangular patterns that govern hole placement on the sides of the block.
The user can modify the "DimensionMultiplier" to scale the size of the block. A "3", for example can scale the block into a 3x6x9 block and the number of holes in the sides increase by threefold accordingly.
I got it all working for a 3x block and simply wanted to set it back to a 1x block by just changing "DimensionMultiplier" back from 3 to 1. The block scaled back to 1x but all three rectangular patterns I used now had errors in them that say "No pattern instances could be intersected with the original body".
The Change Parameters dialog was open at the time and I could see that the values in some of the rectangular pattern fields still had the last values in them (the 3x values). I waited a few minutes in case it was related to not waiting long enough for the cloud to update them. When that didn't help I closed the dialog and reopened it and now the rectangular pattern fields were right (had the 1x values in them). It seems the "Automatic Update" button at the top of the Change Parameters dialog wasn't working well. The Rectangular Pattern icons in the Timeline were still red though. I saved the model, exited Fusion, and reentered Fusion and the model - but the icons were still red. I opened one of the patterns for editing, made no changes, and then exited to see it that'd help - but it didn't. Any suggestions?
Various screenshots are attached.
Thanks,
Rich
