Change Up Axis ?

I've been looking into this but it looks like I can't change the up axis so far into a project, it's something I need to start off with.

With this problem I assume I would want to somehow get all sketches / bodies etc. into a new project.

Any suggestions ?

I would create a new project and make all of the setting changes you want. Then I would create the same file structure as the project you are trying to mimic. Then I would copy each file you have into the same location in the new project and go into each and manually rotate each sketch/body to have the correct alignment.

Thanks for the reply, not entirely sure what you mean though.

I managed to do what I want. Created a new project with the settings I require then using these steps ... In the Data Panel locate the design I want to copy, using "Insert into current design" into the new design, once inserted rotate 90, break the link in the browser and reorder the hierarchy and now is exactly the same but with new axis.

It's the same idea, the only difference is in the way you copied the file.

Having done this surprisingly hasn't changed the axis.

Whilst the project axis is the way I want it, it appears that the bodies and components are still oriented as they were. When it comes to exporting, anything made within an inserted component turns out wrong.

Under Modify there is an align tool. I don't have access to fusion right now and I haven't used it before but that might work. If not then I gues you would have to redraw your parts or rotate them after you export them. Sorry, I'm sure someone else here can give a better answer.

Doesn't look like it.

Luckily, it seems as though only the Components hold the axis info, so what I've done is move all sketches & bodies to a fresh component. This is however rather time consuming, maybe should be an added feature.
