HI, HOW DOES ONE CHANGE THE DIAMETER DIMENSION FORM (Fusion 360 Changing Drawing Settings 02.jpg) TO PICTURE (Fusion 360 Changing Drawing Settings 01.jpg) WITH THE TEXT HORIZONTAL?

Hi,

What I think you are asking is how can you change where the text is and how it is orientated.

If you create a dimension and set it you should be able to simply click and drag it to another position.

It should automagically re-orient itself to something logical.

Hi, no. I need the standard changed and I have checked everywhere. It is a
difference between ISO and ANSI and it looks as if Fusion doesn't support
that!

Hi,

Fusion does support this and you will kick yourself when you find out how easy it is.

If you simply change from Inch to mm or the other way around then fusion will recalculate everything on the fly.

You can even mix units in fusion although I would not recommend it.

I have tried that but when I select ASME I only get American sheet sizes but
I prefer ISO sheet sizes.



I need to be able to select the dimension and change the standard. But it
looks as if Fusion doesn't allow that.

Hi,

There appears to be no auto-select for ASME units and ISO sheet sizes but it can be done.

I don't have the measurements of a standard A3 or whatever you want but you can easily input it where it says

Custom in the sheet sizes.

I didn't check but since fusion automagically calculates mixed units, simply enter say 297mm x 420mm to tell fusion

you want mm.

There is some confusion here. It is not about the sheet sizes, it is about
the format of the diameter style. I want the diameter dimension to display
as in a style like this……look at the “Ø1”

You will have to set as ASME Standard for dimensioning

and 

then enter Custom Sheet Size and enter your ISO sheet size.
