Slot together ElephantSlot together Elephant

I'm working on this slot together elephant model which will eventually be made from printed board.

Is there a way to add white colour to the tusks and add an eye image to the side of the head? I can only seem to add a single colour to each part. Thanks in advance for help and advice!  f3d file attached - note I'm still working on the geometry so there are some collisions within the current model and I have yet to connect up the clockwork motor.

Yep, if you press "A" this will bring up the appearance menu, if you then click on "faces" on the "apply to" section you can drop a material (which you can change the colour of) to each individual face on the parts.

For the eye, you will want to use a decal

hi @rob ,

it is usually simple - any interrupted area can be colored. So draw a sketch on it in lines / circles / triangles and after finishing "cut areas" with the appropriate shape. then "a" and "flaechen" can be colored as desired. greetings mango

Thanks! I like the little toe nails 🙂

I'm afraid I'm not sure what you have done though. It looks like you have created a sketch on the surface?
