Chamfer on a shaft

Hello Fusion,

 

can i make a chamfer on a shafts end, i cannot select the distance direction

when i select angle and distance.

 

see also the picture.

Selecting the distance direction is not currently possible in Fusion 360, the work around is to do a revolved cut at the end of the cylinder.

I added a feature request here: vote for it if you like so we can get this into the software soon.

I will make the work around.

 

The chamfer command is now useless when it comes to designing a Shaft, so it will be a good idea to make the software and de chamfer command more mature, in a new release
