Crashing at "new drawing from design"

Worked fine up to now.

Make a single part / design > Save file > create new drawing from design > crash.

This is a "clean install" (See my posts about no CAM library)

Sent the crash reports.

Last week no CAM. This week no prints.

I am not looking forward to going back to inventor.

Anyone else seeing this?

Hi @Anonymous,

I am sorry you are having this issue.  I have looked at your CER (Crash Error Report) and have an idea what the problem is.  Can you try the following:

  1. Close Fusion 360
  2. In Finder, Go to: ~/Library/Preferences (You may need to type this path directly in to Go > Go to Folder… to see the contents)
  3. Delete com.autodesk.AcCoreConsole.plist
  4. In Finder, Go to: ~/Library/Application Support/Autodesk/
  5. Delete FusionDoc 2016
  6. Reboot your system and try to create a drawing again.

Let me know if you continue to have this issue.

Thank you,

Kris Berg

I could not do step 4 and 5 as I could not find that.

Killing the first one did do the trick.

Thank you.

I am having the same issue on a MacBook and on an Air, with two different designs. I will try the suggested fix and report back.

Reporting back:  No joy! The app still freezes.

Per the suggestion of an Autodesk developer, I did a full uninstall/clean reinstall, and that fixed the issue.

Sad that we are all doing the "un install / reinstall" deal at all of these road blocks.

I want this program to get better and make it as a real production tool. I feel like its close but I can't keep doing this.
