Hi @Anonymous,

I assume you are referring to saving it in the cloud? In the meantime, why don't you try saving a local archive file, that way you have a backup in case anything goes wrong. Assuming this isn't an assembly with referenced parts, you can go into the File Menu in Fusion, select Export and export the file as an Archive File Type. I posted a screenshot below showing the steps.

Hopefully this can create a back up just in case anything goes wrong. Then you should be able to upload the .f3d file to the cloud and continue working in the cloud. In the meantime I will ask around and see why this is happening and what the next steps should be. Also, do you think you could post a screenshot showing what you mean by the option isn't highlighted?

Thanks,

 Hi,

The usual trigger for these actions being disabled is if your Fusion entitlement is seen as invalid or expired. I don't see any messaging around this in your application, so I expect something has reached an invalid state. A potential workaround for this is to switch back into Offline mode, and then come back Online.

Additionally, if you can generate diagnostic log files and forward to me over email (matt.pooley@autodesk.com) I can investigate further and identify exactly what happened.

My save feature is not working anymore. I logged off and back on. I restarted my computer and the software save icon is dim. I lost 4 hrs of work. What do I do next?

Hi,

Could you collect diagnostic log files as shown in the previous posting and forward to me at matt.pooley@autodesk.com, this should let me investigate further and discover what is happening.

Hi,

The log files are showing that Fusion 360 is having trouble communicating to the Autodesk services. Is there a proxy server being used in your network setup that you know off? Also, can I request you to go to https://myhub.autodesk360.com in a web browser to see if you can access the Autodesk servers from outside of Fusion 360? Additionally, may I request you to log out from Fusion 360 and log back in to see if that makes a dfiference?
