Cannot select profile that is the intersection of two profiles

Hi all,

I'm very very new to fusion 360 and I'm facing an issue I cannot seem to be able to solve on my own (nor through the forums and guides).

I have two profiles (an inner one and an outer one)

What I'd like to do is to extrude their intersection (which I guess is a profile as well) but I cannot seem to be able to select it.

I attached the sketch to the thread.

Many thanks for your help!

Not sure why but both your sketches are off the sketch plane, have you used move on the profiles?. If you window select everything in sketch mode then right click there's an option Move To Sketch Plane. After moving you'll be able to select the intersection.

The problem was one profile was at -1.5mm and the other was -1.501. Both profiles have to be at the same height if you want to be able to select the intersection profile.
