Consolidating Multiple Designs Into One File? Just Start Over?

I use F360 a bit for modeling stuff to 3d print.  I know enough to get by but am constantly learning more.  Most recently I realized it would be best to have all my parts (9 bodies) for a machine I'm modeling in one design rather than spread out over three different files.  Particularly since I just learned about user parameters.

I'm getting the impression there's no easy way to combine all these bodies into one design and maintain the parametric history.  Am I stuck living with it as it is or rebuilding it?  What would be the best way to rebuild it?

Any feedback is appreciated.

I think it's Insert Derive that you want?

Put all the files in the same folder then Insert Derive

then click on the Cube in the Design History and Unlink.

Any design can be inserted into a new or existing design right from the data panel.

Just right-click on the design in the data panel and select "insert into current design".

Then you have a choice of breaking the link or keeping it. Both have their advantages.
