Cannot Re-anchor Press Pull Command

Hello.

When I attempt to use press pull on a 12" long aluminum extrusion file, it works as intended. When I try and re-anchor to the other end of the piece, it acts in a weird way. I want to be able to re-anchor to the other end of the extrusion file, and the input box to fill in with 12", or the length of the file.

Please see screencast,

No screen cast- make sure you press "preview" AND "insert"

By a 90% chance you can't do this with imported components

Now I'm curious about this behavior.  I don't see why it wouldn't work with an imported part.  can you attach it so I can mess with it?

Did you try different settings for the "offset type"?

If you select the base feature for the extrusion in the time line, edit then edit it, you can re-anchor the way your expecting to be able to.  Don't know why you can't do the same while in the time line.  Questions similar to this have been around for a while now.  Here's me with similar questions from 3 years ago-
