Cannot patch surface

I have use the intersection curve tool to project a number of lines and create a 3d sketch.
I am wanting to use the patch tool create a surface, however it will not solve.
There are a number of sketch lines in the boundary I suspect this is why.

Patching isn't the correct tool for this. A loft will be better.

However, what you have sketched so far will not lead to success.

Can you share an image of the boat you are trying to model?
