Cannot move derived Sketch between Components

Hello,

i have a body and i derived sketch.

Now i create a new component and move the body to the new component -> Works fine

I cannot move the derived sketch to the new component. When i drop it on the new component, the component gets grey, but nothings happens. The sketch remains at its origin position.

Why?

If you want a Derived Sketch in an existing Component, why not just activate the Component and then Derive the sketch into it?  Then then sketch will be available to do as you desire and will be linked to the original sketch is you do not Break the Link between them.

Of course your are right. But when starting a project without a specific component (yes i know this is an error, never start without a component), you cannot move the derive the later created component....

Yes you are correct you cannot drag (move) it into a Component.  Again, if you have a later component just Derive the same sketch in or a different one.  As you can see I have two Component and I have Derived a sketch, the same one here, into each.
