Cannot Delete File?

I have an old file version that says it cannot be delete because it's in use somewhere else.   I've quit the program and restarted my machine, but still the file is stuck?

@Anonymous thank you for your post.

Was the file, you try to delete, used in some assembly?

The file was a stand alone and not used in an assembly. It was shared, but I confirmed my buddy doesn't have the file open nor Fusion 360.

If you expand details for that file in Data Panel, do you see some "In used by..." info?

If so, could you both try to open that file and close it again?

Looking at the Info, it says that it's "in use" by me?  However, I don't have the file open and I don't want it.

Also, I turned off sharing the file, so maybe that's the problem.  Once it reconciles sharing is off, maybe it will let me delete it.

Sharing shouldn't be a problem, but it's good idea to try to turn it off.

But what I would definitely try to do is open the file again (in online mode), wait a moment and close it (still in online). Then the "in use by" info should disappears and you will be able to delete it.
