How to export file with multiple mesh bodies as single STL?

Ok, so I have imported a DWG file, and Fusion has broken that file into multiple mesh bodies.  How can I export ALL mesh bodies into a dingle STL file?  I don't care if thy're in separate STL bodies or not, as long as they all go into a single STL file.

On some DWG's I can right click on the top level object in the left-hand browser and "Save as STL" bu on some that option is not there (example attached).

Sometimes I get files of large BIM projects or AutoCAD devices in DWG format and want to work on 3D printing them.  I don't want to have to get a copy of AutoCAD or Revit "just" for the STL export function, but I do not know why Fusion 360 works sometime for this and not other times?

Thanks!

Hi Nick,

Thank you for posting! Could you try the "Triangulate mesh" command and then merge mesh bodies in the Mesh environment, and finally save as STL?

I hope this helps!

Another option, after uploading using Fusion's data panel go to the design in the Dashboard and request to download a an STL. I tested and it worked Ok on your sample file.

Thanks @masa.minohara and @HughesTooling !

@masa.minohara  That totally does work!  ...but, I sometimes get files with (literally) 1500 STL's in it and that process will work for smaller files but not larger ones.

@HughesTooling That is a great tip!  Totally worked for me, and for larger models as well...thanks!!!
