Cannot change appearance of just one body/assembly/object

Hello :

Weird things happened after the update, random things split apart and others disappeard.  Anyway...

I want a cylinder base body to have concrete appearance.  I want everything else left as is.

I select the cylider.  I click so menu pops up, and select appearance.  I drag the concrete swatch onto the cylinder, and Poof!  I get a dialog asking if I want to keep appearances on faces and bodies, whatever I say doesn't make adifferent, concrete is applied to everything.

How do I *only* apply this to the pad?

Note: undo doesn't fix this.

Thanks,

Hi @thepirate1,

Can you record a screencast (you can get the tool here) and post it?

it's a little hard to tell exactly what is going on with out some more info.    You can definitely apply an appearance to just one body, so there must be more going on here.

Thanks,

I have the same problem. I select one body, change the appearance, but changes all of the bodies even though I only selected one body.

Same question I have 11 bodies and in appearance (In This Design) it only shows one body. Is this because I should have made separate components for each piece and not bodies.
