Can you orbit around a body while selecting multiple faces?

I'm trying to select multiple faces by holding the shift key and clicking them. This works as expected until I need to orbit around a body to select a face on the back. Clicking the orbit button deselects anything that's selected. I realize I can change the visual style to reveal the hidden faces, but I don't want to do that. I'm on a Mac with a Magic Mouse if that matters. Any help is much appreciated, thanks in advance!

Hey there,

Instead of using the orbit icon, you can hold shift and middle mouse buttons to orbit around the model. This should be easier and allow you to maintain selected faces.

Let me know if that helps or if I misunderstood!

Since I'm using a Magic Mouse, I don't have a middle mouse button. Your suggestion did inspire me to dig deeper into what the equivalent would be though, and I was able to figure it out. Turns out, if you use the touch surface of the mouse while holding shift it orbits while still allowing you to select multiple entities. Thank you for you reply!
