If you go into offline mode, can you open up that design that is presenting an error message when opening?

It may help to open while in offline, save a new version, and then go back online again and let the files re-sync.

It would be helpful to post a copy of your diagnostic log files so we can take a look. There is a command located in the help menu that will automatically gather them for you. If you can post those here, I will be happy to take a look.

Thanks,

Hi @Anonymous

It looks like Fusion is having trouble opening _nowy uklad ogniw w skrzynce pionowo.eeea856d-9a66-489d-8715-4b191fd8617d.f3d

Which is stored in:

Macintosh HD > Users > *** > Library > Application Support > Autodesk > Autodesk Fusion 360 > *** > W.login > F>

Could you try the following?

1. Close Fusion 360

2. In Finder, browse to Macintosh HD > Users > *** > Library > Application Support > Autodesk > Autodesk Fusion 360 > *** > W.login > F>

Note: *** is a user specific ID

2. Move the file named "_nowy uklad ogniw w skrzynce pionowo.eeea856d-9a66-489d-8715-4b191fd8617d.f3d" into another directory like your desktop

3. Open Fusion 360 and try opening the design from the data panel.

Does that help?

Thanks,

Hi,

thanks for help, but it did not work.

Earlier I reinstalled Fusion 360 as described in the instructions of reinstalling.

I removed all files and catalogs.

Now I can open about 20% of my files in Fusion 360 on Mac.

On the same computer on Windows 7 in Parallels desktop I can open all my files but I prefer to work on Mac.

Thanks and have a nice day,

Bartek

@Anonymous That is very wierd behavior. Could you try rebooting the Mac OS to see if that helps?

If that doesn't help, can you share one of the design that will not open on the Mac with me? For example F3D file I referenced above? I'd like to test it on my syste to see if there are any difficulties opening it. You could upload it this thread or send me an e-mail nathan.chandler@autodesk.com.

I'm wondering if you open the designs in Windows, save a new version, then go back to the Mac... are you able to open them?

I look forward to your update. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

I'm really sorry for all of the troubles! Thank you for the file. I was able to open the design without any problems on my Mac. I'm currently working with development on the issue to investigate the issue further; however, in the meantime it might be worth performing a clean uninstall and re-install Fusion 360 to see if this helps.

There's an automatic clean uninstall tool available in the below link that can make this task easier.

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/fusion-360/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How...

Be sure to select Yes to clean all cache files. Next, you can install by downloading Fusion (free trial) from the below website.

http://www.autodesk.com/products/fusion-360/overview

Hopefully this will work to resolve the issue. I will circle back with any updates from the development team. I look forward to your update.

Hi there.. I just wanted to let you know that I haven't forgotten about this. I'm still tracking this issue with development. I will circle back as soon as I have an update. I'm hoping to have an update in the next day or two.

If you are open to it, one thing that you might try is to clean uninstall and then re-install from the Mac Apple Store to see if there is any change in behavior. The version from the Autodesk website and the version on the Mac Apple Store (MAS) have some very small differences.

If you have any questions, please let me know. I am happy to help.

Thanks,
