Can't Move A Sketch

I really don't understand the methods of moving a sketch, or sketch components. Sometimes when I draw a sketch on the scene floor, I can later move the entire sketch, and sometimes I can't. Sometimes it will only let me move one point, and the other is locked to the floor. I don't understand how I end up with different results.

In this case, I drew a rectangular sketch on this surface, trying to create locators for holes to go through the duct for a fan to be bolted on. Seeing I have to start the rectangle in the corner to the size of the fan holes, I later have to move the sketch up 2.5mm and across 2.5mm. But it won't move. I read an article on deleting constraints, but if I do that the constraints still appear, and when I try to the move the edges, they've been broken away from at the corners. So it's no longer a rectangle.

If I place a sketch somewhere, how do I move it later?

Thanks for posting! Sketch constraints are usually the main reason a sketch cannot be moved later in the design process. To maintain the shape of the original sketch, however, constraints need to be selectively deleted - the constraints positioning the sketch to the existing solid geometry need to be removed but the constraints defining the spatial relationships between individual sketch elements should not be. 

With that said, you may be able to delete all the constraints and move all of the sketch entities at once to work around needing to keep some constraints. I have shown some ideas on this in the screencast below.

have the same problem I made a design and now I want to move the center 60mm lower but is will not move I already deleted the constrains and still no change.

Attach your model for further help.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.
