Can't extrude/join multiple lines of text

I'm making a name plate for a project. The name plate has several lines of text. If I create a single Text object in a sketch and use that to extrude/join the text to the underlying base plate, it works fine.

But if I have a text object in a sketch that has multiple lines of text and try to do the same kind of extrude/join, I get a failure. I tried several times with different sets of text, and that seems to be a problem, that Fusion can't handle multiple lines of text within one text object.

Is there a solution to this, other than splitting the text into single-line text objects? Frankly I find that approach to be quite difficult since it is so incredibly difficult (impossible) to reposition text objects in a sketch. Grab a part of it and it insists on rotating the text instead of just moving it.

I've attached the pertinent Fusion 360 file.

Further testing seems to indicate that it's NOT an issue with multiple lines of text within a text object but rather it has trouble handling the "rry" portion of the word "Ferry". It seems to see "rry" as all one thing or maybe overlapping parts. I changed the font from bold to not-bold and that seemed to assure that the letters in "rry" were far enough apart to handle them as separate, non-overlapping objects.

This is the first time I've ever encountered this with text objects in Fusion.

But there's still significant difficulty in repositioning or moving around a text object within a sketch. No matter what I grab to try to move a text object, it always rotates instead of just moving.

Take a look at the Screencast for some suggestions on moving a sketch Text object to help you maintain orientation and make it easier to move.  Also I mentioned text character spacing to help prevent overlapping of letters.
