Can't edit text box

Hello,

I created a sketch, then added some text in a text box.(Sketch > Create > Text.)

Now, I can't edit the text. I've tried double-clicking on it numerous times (while in the sketch, of course.) I can't even select it by dragging a box around it, hence deleting or scaling it is impossible.

The only thing that does work is moving it. Otherwise, it's like the program doesn't even think it exists.

What am I missing? I'm on version 2.3.12392.

Do you have all of your Selection Filters checked?
