I've heard that it can be because one of the earlier saved VERSIONS of the document might be referenced somewhere.

My fix is to create a folder called TRASH and just move unwanted - yet undeleteable - stuff to there.

I just wanted to say that such particular model can not be deleted despite it not being used anywhere.

Good to know it's the same person lol

Anyway, it might be the link between the project you're trying to delete and the project it was inserted into what is causing this problem so please give this a try ...

Go and export the project it was inserted into, and save it to you're computer, then delete it from your data panel, after that go ahead and try deleting the project that you couldn't delete

The whole idea here is to remove anything that has a link with that project that you want to delete, and then try deleting it again

If that didn't work, the project it was inserted into can be uploaded again from your computer since it was exported, so it's safe to delete it from your data panel to try the above

Please keep me updated

Regards

Not from the data panel you should be able to do it from your A360 account just open that model and click on the download icon in the top right corner and select the format for it to be downloaded as.

What happens when you promote an older version of a design. Does it
override the current most recent?
I found that the part I can't delete is in an older version. At least
according to A360.

I wonder if there is a way to delete previous versions of a design.

according to A360. That will be correct

I wonder if there is a way to delete previous versions of a design. Not sure if you can I know you can open them as read only and save it out or save as
