Can student use Generative Design for free ?

I am using fusion360 for a long time. But, haven't used generative design yet. I am using a student license. But, when I tried to open the generative design tab it said you need a paid subscription for that. Is this some technical problem or its genuinely need a paid subscription for that?

I suggest that you log into your "Student" Autodesk Account and look to see if you have the license.  If you do I think you will need to Active it.

Greetings, @jhackney1972 I have followed all the steps for the new version of fusion 360. But, still, it is shown in the New version of fusion 360 that you need a paid version for using that. Kindly, help me out why this happen?

you need to create the id(autodeak)with your school account i.e., the one which ends with .edu.in

Then you can access generative design.

I have a student account but when I opened my fusion I don't have the access but my friend has it. when i tried to have access now it went straight to the shopping page. what can I do ?

You are out of luck.  Account must be associated with edu email to use Generative Design for free.
