can someone point me to a tutorial about sketch projection?

Hi --

I cannot figure out how sketch projection works, or for that matter, what it's supposed to do.

Is there a good tutorial somewhere?

Is it supposed to allow me to take a sketch and change it such that it fits onto the surface of a body, like a sphere?

Thanks for the reply

The first link is not very useful because I had already found it and I couldn't figure out what to do with the instructions.

They video might be good, but I've only watched it twice.  It goes by too fast, but the other thing is that is has no audio with it, so it's very hard to follow along.

I'll watch it a few more times and see if I can slow down the play speed.
