Can I give matching components different parameters?

Hi all, forgive my basic understanding of Fusion, I'm fairly new to it.

I usually design wardrobes in *ahem* Sketchup, where I can create a somewhat cumbersome dynamic component. I can then copy that component and change the parameters as if it's an individual component. Useful when I have wardrobes of different sizes.

How would I do this in fusion?

Any help is appreciated.

Yes, but that depends on how you design these parts. Do you have a design to share?

Hi Peter, I haven't done a design yet, I didn't want to back myself into a corner if what I need to do isn't possible 😁

Although the image shows a very basic version of what my design will be like. There's two carcasses there, one has been copied.

There is more than one way to do this but I think this is the easiest.  Take a look at the process in my Screencast.  I stumbled at one point saying you do not have to "Break the Link" to the external file but I corrected myself, you do.  I apologize for my mistake.

Excellent John, thank you very much.

I'm glad it's that simple 😁

I can crack on with the full assembly now.
