BUG: Rotation Transforms in Animation suite Ignore Pivot Point

In the Animation subroutine in Fusion, there is a bug which does not allow you to change the pivot point of rotated objects. In this example, I have set my pivot point in the animation suite to the center of the red circle. When rotated in the transform browser, the behavior is as expected. However, when the action is added to the animation timeline, and the play button is pressed, both the pivot point and the rotation transform move simultaenously producing garbage output. I've shown a frame of this in 2.png.

This bug prevents things like gears or hoops from ever being properly animated in Fusion.

I'm sorry but the screen shots are not enough for me to go on. Can you provide a video using Autodesk Screencast or some other means?

Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous,

Is the problem you are experiencing similar to the one found in the thread below?

Thanks,

Hi James - yes, exact same problem. The motion study solution will not work in my case because there are several different simultaneous rotating axes all moving at different speeds. Would be great if the animation bug was fixed.

Hi @Anonymous,

This is a known issue that Development has fixed and will most likely be coming out in the September update unless something out of the ordinary happens. This issue is logged internally as FUPB-922. I'm sorry for the inconvience, but stay tuned for the September update!

Thanks,
