First of all I don't understand a software which is meant to be used by designers dont have NURBS-CV curves....
And I have made a request for it ! and it is in alias speedform isn't it generally the same software right ?
So to get some smooth lines I downloaded rhino and now couldn't even improve from rhino 😞

line inport in to fusion.jpg

Here is a link to the dvg file

I still loving fusion 360 🙂 but we have a small crisis right now

In Rhino run simplify on the curves then explode then simplify again then export.

The problem is Fusion doesn't work with some types of spline, it's not that Fusion is seeing a break in the line, it just doesn't work for those spline. Can you attach a sample Rhino file, you'll probably need to ZIP the file to attach. I think I've used DWG to get some splines to come in OK so if you upload a file I see if I can figure out the settings.

Thanks for posting the issue here.

There are some imported splines which have G1 discontinuities. This type of spline cannot be used to build sketch profile even if they are formed a closed loop. We'll fix it and it could be available on Jan. 2016 release if it works well.

I think the problem was the fusion dont like join Curves with different continuity ( straight lines and curves(g1 + g3)) join together
As Mark Hughes suggested simplified and explode do the trick, my curves was pretty clean so explosion was enough for me

I still really don't understand why fusion don't have NURBS curves for me that is the "real bug" ! And the inport issue is secondary...
